What is Run Across Georgia?

Run Across Georgia {RAG} will begin April 24, 2010 and is currently designed to be a 250+ mile, multi-day unsupported running journey beginning in Eufaula, Alabama at the Georgia state line and completing on the pristine, sandy beaches of Jekyll Island, Georgia.

While there are some unique elements to RAG, the run is mostly designed to give aspiring trans-USA runners a taste of the action, and significant practice with regards to planning and managing multi-day crossings of any kind.

By running across Georgia, you will be completing about 5-10% of a transcontinental run.

Cool, huh?
