Run Across Georgia is not designed to be a race. A race would most likely assume organization, aid stations, entry fees, …and a fancy wicking shirt – none of which will be available for this adventure.
It’s just not that kind of thing.
That being said, the goal will be to get across the state as fast as possible, in as little number of days as possible.
Run Across Georgia will be a true test of runner survival.
I expect that anyone who does this run with me will be a very different person standing on the shores of Jekyll Island, GA than they were standing on the corner of East Barbour Street & Riverside Drive in Eufaula, AL.
A lot of personal discovery will go down within 250 miles of road running.
