Run Across Georgia is designed to be a true running adventure – a self-supported, multi-day, 250-mile running adventure across the southern section of the state of Georgia. To be considered a finisher for this particular event, runners must adhere to the following:
- Runners must be willing to run unsupported* or self-supported**.
- Runners must be willing to avoid motels and rely on their surroundings.
- Runners must be willing to abandon the idea of a “crew”.
- Runners must be willing to rely on themselves and solve problems along the way.
* unsupported runners would carry everything they need with with them from the start.
** self-supported runners will acquire aid items from stores, roadside stands and other commercially available means
